An amazing opportunity at Scienceworks has arisen for students all over Victoria to hear stories from the perspective of those who have ventured, worked and lived in space! Astronaut Stories Australia is a keynote series of events run by the AIAA to bring the stories, passion and inspiration of the world’s astronauts and cosmonauts to life. (Instructions on how to enter questions for astronauts to ask – to include school identification.)

Dominic ‘Tony’ Antonelli:
Tony is a veteran of two space flights. He was selected as a pilot by NASA in 2000, and has spent a total of 24 days, 3 hours, 57 minutes and 35 seconds in space.

Dorin Prunariu
Dorin was selected for a joint space flight with the Russian cosmonaut Leonid Popov in May 1981. They completed an eight-day space mission on board Soyuz 40 and the Salyut 6 space laboratory where they completed scientific experiments.
Times: 10.30am – 11.30am and 12.30-1.30pm possibility of 1.45pm – 2.45pm
